so a few of you know i had my first wedding shoot a few weeks ago, i finally got all the finished pictures uploaded to my online gallery at smugmug, and i need people to have a quick look and let me know what you think.
i am, as a whole, pleased with them but am irritated at some of the group shots not being as sharp as i would like and definately at some of the people paying more attention to the friends and family taking pics on camera phones behind me than at me, the paid photographer. partly my fault, next time i will be a lot more assertive and actually say 'can you look at my camera please, i'm being paid for this and i want them to look as wonderful as possible!'
[link]i might upload a few of them here, especially some of the flower shots & getting ready shots as i am ridiculously pleased with some of those

next weekend i am visiting my dad 'dahn sarf' and photographing =
Serenity-Falls and *
Skitsofrenika, mega looking forward to that, and visiting my sister *
24Princess24 on the way back, so excited! i have also challenged *
Skitsofrenika to bring all her goth goodies and accessories and get mia gothed up to the max, should be a lot of fun

i have also been asked to photograph
'carnival divine burlesque' next sunday evening, so it will be a very busy day seeing as i am driving about 200 miles home then going to manchester for the evening show, but it will be well worth it

For the things that can be fixed (the group shots are what they are), the only thing I'd change is saturation and color balance.
Most of the outdoor shots before the ceremony look much better with less saturation. However, after the ceremony, the outdoor shots look great with full saturation. As for the indoor shots, it's not so much a matter of saturation, but cooling them down a bit to compensate for tungsten lights. The ones you've chosen to be B&W might look a little more interesting if you colorized them. Not necessarily sepia, but you could try other hues (they look fine, but I couldn't help but think "I wonder what that would look like with a lavender tint").
My favorite of the entire set is 182, the kid on the stairs. Excellent!
220 could use a little dodging to bring out the faces on the left and right.
Other than that, great job. I think they'll be happy.

Some of the people are squinting, but I'd just yell in future so they all look at you

There was a hatred I had never felt before.
So now I'll make him pay each and everyday until that mousse-haired little nuisance is no more...
