:aww: looks great with the vintage texture..it's a novel way of expressing animals, to edit them as we would people. I've seen many books and photographers who use this method..it's so great.
lovely image Donna

Be nice to everyone!
:iconladytwiglet:
i dunno, it feels natural to me to edit an animal in the same way i would a person, they are all photographic subjects and all have personalities one way or another  i am very pleased with this though :aww: so glad you like it darlin!

last night? you should have seen me, i was totally car parked!

:whisper: psssst....want some awesome stock??
:iconhaikman:
'tis true yet it must be harder to decide on the edit?..I can only go from how I work I suppose, that I edit to compliment a person's personality and emotion to try to make the shot more powerful. but with little creatures it must be more difficult..

it's a sweet choice of colour here, most people don't like snails in their gardens blah blah but my kids love em and despite their slimynesss your edit really pretties them up..I've got a fish tank full of the blighters at the moment, but theyre well active and quite entertaining!

and how tiny and cute?!!

actually, we had a MASSIVE giant african land snail who died last year called gary, and last week we bought a baby one who mia has named 'baby gary 2' :giggle: she also likes to feed our snake his mice and happily picks the defrosted mice up without a problem, shes not particularly squeamish :)

with regards to the edit, it all depends on the shot i suppose. with this one, i thought that the vintage would complement it, and it did! with people, sometimes its about the personality, sometimes its the picture itself. to be honest, i dont really think about it all that much, its whatever feels right to me

you've got your hands full..and when new baba comes out to play, if he's a boy, you'll probably end up with lizards, spiders..:fear:
